Andrew Tonkovich edits the literary magazine Santa Monica Review and hosts a weekly books show Bibliocracy Radio on Pacifica station KPFK in Los Angeles. He works each summer at the Community of Writers in Squaw Valley. His essays and short stories have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Faultline, Green Mountains Review, and OC Weekly.
