Maria Hall-Brown joined KOCE-TV (PBS) in July of 1997. She is a producer/reporter for "Real Orange," KOCE's nightly news and public affairs program and the producer/host of the acclaimed author interview series Bookmark.

She also produces documentaries for KOCE, and recently won a Golden Mike Award for “Notes from Europe.” She also won a prestigious LA Area Emmy Award as executive producer on the documentary Mendez vs. Westminster. This production also won a Golden Mike Award and was recognized at the White House during the Hispanic Heritage Celebration.

She is married to Dr. Jeffrey Brown and the mother of one daughter, Aubrey.
