Mary Menzel
Mary is a native Californian, raised in Napa and currently living in Los Angeles. She is project manager for the California Center for the Book (www.calbook.org), a reading promotion and civic engagement agency that is a program of the California Library Association and affiliated with the Center for the Book in the Library of Congress. CCFB develops programs that celebrate California's literary heritage and promote the role of libraries as community builders. Mary has a master’s of library and information studies degree from UCLA and a bachelor of arts in creative writing (poetry) from Stanford University. She is an avid reader of just about everything.
