Nina Revoyr was born in Japan to a Japanese mother and a white American father. She grew up in Tokyo, Wisconsin, and Los Angeles. Nina is the author of five novels which have been selected for numerous “Campus Reads” and “Community Reads” programs. Her second novel, Southland (2003), was one of the books in the California Center for the Book’s “Mysterious California” discussion kits.
