Shanthi Sekaran
Shanthi's Lucky Boy (2017), described by Kirkus Reviews as a "superbly crafted and engrossing novel," captures the street-level reality of the 30,000-foot issues of immigration, motherhood and class. She teaches creative writing at California College of the Arts, and is a member of the San Francisco Writers’ Grotto. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Best New American Voices and Mutha Magazine. A California native, Shanthi lives in Berkeley with her husband and two children.
