T.J. Nolan’s love of words started at seven when she wrote her autobiography. By nine she was reading Vogue feature articles. In high school she was nearly suspended for reading the banned book, The Exorcist. She argued with the principal that since the campus was liberal enough to allow cigarette smoking she should be allowed to read fiction. After all, reading doesn’t harm. She won the argument and avoided punishment.
Terri entered college with the idea of becoming a journalist and experienced literary success when some of her short stories were published. Turning away from journalism when rock-and-roll beckoned, she moved to broadcasting and earned a degree in Radio/Television. Today, she works fulltime on novels, short stories and feature articles, having not lost love for the written word. She is president of the Orange County chapter of Sisters in Crime.
T.J. Nolan is moderating the Mysteries: Around the World panel during Session 1.
