David Rensin David Rensin

David Rensin's most recent book was the oral/narrative biography, "All For a Few Perfect Waves: The Audacious Life and Legend of Rebel Surfer Miki Dora." He also wrote "The Mailroom," an oral history of what's it's like to start at the bottom dreaming of the top in the classic show business talent agency mailrooms. Rensin’s work also includes co-writing Tim Allen's mega-best-seller, "Don't Stand Too Close to a Naked Man," Chris Rock's "Rock This!," Garry Shandling’s autobiography of faux talk show host Larry Sanders (“Confessions of a Late Night Talk Show Host”), the late super-manager Bernie Brillstein's memoir "Where Did I Go Right?", WWII hero Louis Zamperini's incredible survival saga "Devil at My Heels,” musician/composer Yanni’s autobiography, “Yanni In Words", and "The Bob Book," a groundbreaking humorous sociology of men named Bob. Rensin is a long-time contributing editor of Playboy, for which he's done more than a hundred interviews.
