Harley Jane Kozak, a sometime actress, lives with her family in Southern California. Her debut novel, Dating Dead Men (2005), won the Agatha, Anthony, and Macavity Awards, and was followed by three more series books and then a paranormal mystery called Keeper of the Moon (2013). Her short prose has appeared in Ms. Magazine, Soap Opera Digest, The Sun, Santa Monica Review, and the following anthologies: Mystery Muses (2006), This is Chick Lit (2006), A Hell of a Woman (2007), Butcher Knives and Body Counts (2011), The Rich and the Dead (2011), Crimes by Moonlight (2011).
