is the Librarian at the Brea Library. She started “Book Talk,” the reader’s advisory blog for OC Public Libraries, and currently hosts two book discussion groups. Samantha received her master’s degree in library and information science from San Jose State University after graduating with honors from UC Riverside. She holds a bachelor’s degree in creative writing with an emphasis in short fiction, receiving an award for her poetry. Prior to OC Public Libraries, Samantha worked at the Murrieta Public Library and interned with the Riverside County Library System. During her years in school, Samantha was a lifeguard and bakery manager; she brings that same energy, love of food, love of literature, and public service dedication to her career as a public librarian.
