Lynne Thompson
Lynne Thompson’s first collection, Beg No Pardon (2007), won the Perugia Press Book Award and the Great Lakes Colleges Association’s New Writers Award. Start with a Small Guitar (2013) is her second full-length work and follows the publication of two chapbooks: We Arrive by Accumulation (2002) and Through a Window (2004). A Pushcart Prize nominee, recipient of fellowships to the Vermont Studio Center and the Summer Literary Seminars, and a presenter at the 2013 Associated Writers & Writing Program Conference, Lynne’s poems have been published in Ploughshares, Sou’Wester, and Crab Orchard Review, and are forthcoming in African American Review and Prairie Schooner. Lynne is Reviews & Essays Editor of the Orange County-based journal, Spillway.
