She co-edited two anthologies with Tony Barnstone, Dead and Undead Poems (2014) and Monster Verse (2015). Michelle was the winner of the Elixir Press Poetry Prize, the Nation/“Discovery” Award, and the Columbia Poetry Prize.

Suzanne Lummis is the director of the Los Angeles Poetry Festival, literary curator for the Lummis Day Festival of Northeast Los Angeles, and co-editor with Henry Morro of the Pacific Coast Poetry Series. She is the editor of the series’ first publication, Wide Awake: Poets of Los Angeles and Beyond (2015), which was named one of the 10 Best Books of 2015 by the Los Angeles Times.
