Drew Chapman was born and raised in New York City. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor of arts in history. His early jobs included: bike messenger, newspaper reporter, bootleg T-shirt salesman, and knish vendor at Yankee Stadium. After college, Drew moved to Los Angeles and worked in film production. He has written on film projects for Disney, Fox, Universal and Warner Brothers. He wrote and directed an indie feature film called Stand Off.

Dwayne Alexander Smith has worked as a professional screenwriter for over thirteen years and is represented by Verve and Circle of Confusion. Dwayne has sold six spec screenplays and has been employed by studios for numerous rewrites. Two movies he wrote, Free Fall and Two Bedrooms, were both released in 2014. His first novel, a thriller titled Forty Acres, was published last July by Atria Books an imprint of Simon & Schuster.
